T-Pain To Release Part Two of 'On Top of the The Covers'

The rapper/singer made the announcement during a performance at the Stagecoach Festival on April 26.

T-Pain has announced that he will be releasing the second installment of On Top of the Covers, HipHopDX reports.

Taking the stage at the  Stagecoach Festival on Friday (April 26), T-Pain shared the news with the crowd as a surprise guest of Jelly Roll following the performance of his classics “All I Do Is Win” and “Buy U A Drank."

The duo also paid tribute to the late Toby Keith with  their rendition of his “Should’ve Been a Cowboy.”

Jelly Roll then expressed his excitement that T-Pain joined him on stage for the performance.

“I heard his On Top of the Covers and I heard him sing Chris Stapleton,” Jelly Roll said. “And I said, ‘That is the man that I wanted to bring out on Stagecoach…”

“T-Pain, we all want to know. When is On Top of the Covers 2 coming?” Jelly Roll asked.

“Oh, it's coming soon,” T-Pain said to cheers from the crowd. “On Top of the Covers, part 2, coming real soon. So get ready for that,” he continued.

Released in March 2023, On Top of the Covers spanned seven tracks and garnered critical acclaim for the rapper/singer's versatile vocal ability

On the album, Pain gave modern renditions of songs made famous by a collection of artists ranging from Sam Cooke,  Frank Sinatra, Journey Chris Stapleton, Black Sabbath, and Sam Smith.

“I’m so excited for the world to hear and see this,” T-Pain said about the album at the time. “Since it’s the gift-giving time of year, I decided to release the full performance. Let’s keep the good times rolling into 2024!”
